What we do
Sable Construction specializes primarily in building and renovating quality custom homes. We have, for the past four decades, undertaken projects in areas such as Malibu, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades and Hollywood that range in scope and size. We work with a group of highly skilled artisans and sub-contractors with whom we have developed a trusted working relationship. For each project, we assemble a qualified team that best suits the needs and requirements of both the design and the scope of work. We are fortunate to have worked with the area’s leading architects and interior designers and have, over the years, established and maintained a close working relationship with these companies. In fact, most of our work is generated from this group of professionals, coupled with repeat work and referrals from our clients. This trust has been earned and we have worked hard over the years to establish a loyal client base.

ADMINISTRATION AND COMMUNICATION
Of vital importance is establishing a clear line of communication between the owner, architect, and contractor, which is essential for a successful project. This communication is established from the very beginning, in preparing the proposal of costs submitted to the owner. This allows us to provide the client with a comprehensive and inclusive set of costs, which becomes the basis of the contract. It is at this initial stage that we are also able to provide the owner with valuable options and suggestions. Our goal is to make the building process an enjoyable experience and to exceed the expectations of the both the architect and the homeowner.
The budget, schedule, and quality of the finished home are the three most important facets of any project. Establishing a means of communication between these interrelated aspects of the construction is a key element of the process.
During the project, regular documented site meetings are held with the owner and architect, and a written summary is submitted to all parties. These meetings track current work as well as anticipated work and are a collaborative, proactive way to reveal ideas and opportunities for improvement throughout the construction experience. As builders, we recognize the importance of this process to the success of any project.
SITE CONDITIONS
Sable Construction is a fully insured company. All sub-contracting companies employed on the project are required to submit Certificate of Insurance documents to substantiate insurance coverage.
Sable Construction has, over the years, earned a reputation of maintaining an organized and clean job site. This is a reputation we take pride in. It not only allows work to proceed efficiently, but also provides a safe environment for tradesman and contractors. Our track record of maintaining a safe site is exemplary.
